The simulator is a stated model, not a measurement of X. It starts from a daily follower gain set by content quality - gündelik 2, i̇yi 8, profesyonel 25 followers a day at the reference size - then multiplies by a niche factor between 0.85 for genel / yaşam and 1.4 for kripto / web3, a spread of 1.65x, and by a posting-rate bonus that adds 30% for every doubling of posts per day. Every one of those numbers is printed on this page so the timeline can be checked rather than believed.
The reason the curve bends is the audience-scaling ladder: reach per post is multiplied by 0.7 below 1,000 followers and by 8 above 100,000. That is roughly an 11.4x improvement in reach across the whole range, while the follower target ahead grows a hundredfold, which is why the last milestone always takes longer than the first.
What makes those targets mean something is measured rather than assumed. Across the 45,308-account sample PlayerSells measured from its 18,486,455-account X index on 24 August 2026, the median account has 550 followers, the 90th percentile has 7,085 and the 99th has 89,454. 1,000 followers is larger than 61.9% of that index; 10,000 followers is larger than 92.5% of that index; 50,000 followers is larger than 98.1% of that index; 100,000 followers is larger than 99% of that index. A "small" target of 1,000 followers already puts an account past 61.9% of the accounts we index.
Follower percentiles are measured over a 45,308-row sample of the 18,486,455 X accounts PlayerSells indexes, on 24 August 2026, and describe that index rather than every account on X. The daily gain, the niche factors, the posting-rate bonus and the scaling ladder are this simulator's own assumptions. They are not observed growth rates and no part of them comes from X.
